Discover the Nymphenburg Palace, the summer residence of Wittelsbach rulers, with an official tour guide of the state capital Munich. The tour begins with the exterior of Nymphenburg Castle, which is over 632 metres wide, making it wider than Versailles Castle. Afterwards the tour continues inside the castle complex. At the beginning you enter the Steinernes Saal with its rich stucco work and a magnificent ceiling fresco by Johann Baptist Zimmermann. Afterwards, visit the diverse premises of the princes and their wives. Your guide will show you the most valuable piece of furniture and introduce you to exciting stories of various mistresses. Worth seeing is the beauty gallery of King Ludwig I; historically, the birth room of the future "fairytale king" King Ludwig II.
The official guide will welcome you outside at the entrance to the castle. The tour begins on the outside. Afterwards, discover the interior of the castle. The tour ends in the castle, so you can view more details independently.
You will make your own way to the meeting points
Admission to the Nymphenburg Castle is not included and must be purchased in advance, independently at the ticket office. Please make sure that tickets for the castle were purchased at the start of the tour and that we can start the tour without delay.
