Its main town is San José de Maipo, capital of the commune, which is the ideal place to start getting to know the area, in the midst of colorful architecture, the visitor will find a whole series of services to enjoy the area. However, other areas with great tourist attractions also stand out, such as El Yeso, El Colorado, San Gabriel, El Manzano, among others.
Embalse El Yeso is one of the many destinations that only one day would take us to visit. The Tinoco tunnel is a great engineering work carved in rock and has a length of more than 600 meters. It corresponds to a construction carried out for the transit of the Puente Alto-el Volcán railway. The train stopped working in 1985 and today the facilities are abandoned.

We pick up and drop off passengers at hotels and B&B in the sectors of Las Condes, Providencia, Santiago Centro, Estación Central as long as they are close to Line 1 metro stations if we do not manage a contact point where they will have to arrive. Pick Up is NOT done at the Airport or at hotels near the Airport. If you are in one of these 2 places, you will have to go to a Departure Point: Hotel Best Western Estación Central (Address: Libertador Bernardo O Higgins 3559, Estación Central district) at the Hotel Door. You will have to wait for the indicated time one day before.
