The 1–2 hour hike through moderately challenging terrain leads to one of Peru’s most stunning natural wonders — the turquoise waters of Humantay Lake nestled beneath towering glaciers. Take time to relax, snap photos, make a traditional offering to the Apus, or even take a refreshing dip. After soaking in the beauty, hike back down for a well-earned lunch before returning to Cusco in the early evening.
