Ingapirca Ruins

La Casa de la Makana
In this gallery workshop belonging to José Jiménez and his wife Ana Ulloa we can appreciate the traditional fabric of the "Makana" or shawl typical of the women of Azuay and Cañar; Nowadays, this shawl has gained great popularity worldwide, since the process of its elaboration is 100% handmade and in this place we can observe step by step from its beginning to the final product, our visitors will also have the opportunity to try the Makana and take photos, like purchasing any of these products.
Parque Chordeleg
The Chordeleg canton is a small town belonging to the province of Azuay, this place was designated by UNESCO as "Creative City" because in this picturesque place we can observe: Toquilleras (women who make handicrafts made with toquilla straw) artifacts elaboration in mud and crafts in general. We must take into account that the main attraction of Chordeleg are the jewelers, where we can find a number of pieces in gold and silver, where the earrings known as "candongas" made in silver and gold filigree stand out.
