We explore key sites like the Handwerkerhof, St. Lorenz Church, Hauptmarkt with the Beautiful Fountain and Frauenkirche, the medieval dungeons, Sebaldus Church, and the Imperial Castle with its panoramic view.
On the way back, we pass the Albrecht Dürer House, Weißgerbergasse, Maxbrücke, Trödelmarkt, and end at the scenic Henkersteg.

We start at the edge of the old city wall in the charming Handwerkerhof. This medieval-style courtyard is filled with half-timbered houses and traditional crafts — the perfect gateway into Nuremberg’s past.
A masterpiece of Gothic architecture. This impressive church features a stunning rose window, a massive organ, and centuries of sacred art and history.
Heilig-Geist-Spital
Once one of the largest hospitals in medieval Europe, this scenic building over the Pegnitz River is now a restaurant — but still tells stories of care and charity.

Meeting Points
- By default, I start my tours at the Brezen Kolb stand in front of Nuremberg Central Station (Bahnhofsplatz 6). However, I’m happy to pick you up at your hotel or another central meeting point upon request. Just let me know in advance.
End Points
- The tour usually ends at the historic Henkersteg (Hangman’s Bridge), a scenic and central location in the Old Town. However, the exact end point can be adapted depending on your preferences, group needs, or weather conditions.
