(Subject to Option Inclusions)This exclusive small group event is a perfect way to start your evening in Mainz: Join Bottlestops’ German wine expert Jérôme for a 2 hours wine tasting paired to local snacks. We start event with a sparkling wine followed a flight of 5 excellent local wines. We will be located in one of the most spectacular cellars of the region, deep in the Mainz' hillside. The wines we taste will take you along the essentials of local wine culture, history and geography. This will not only be a fun and entertaining evening - you'll also take away insights and understanding of German wines altogether. And of course, this will be a most delicious start to the night as your wines will be paired to typical local snacks. We will have 6 wines to taste, but pairings and specific wines can vary, depending on season and availability.

STARTER - Classic Sekt (Sparkling wine) - surprise pairing

MAIN - Dry Riesling and Sausage
With this pairing, we evoke Mainz' very own food trinity 'Weck, Woscht & Woi' - the local 'boloni' style fleischwurst is a classic.

Discover how the humble Grauburgunder puffs up its chest when paired with cheeses from North and South.
