Discover the best-kept secrets of Santiago de Chile riding a bicycle. Some of the relevant landmarks we’ll encounter along the route are Parque Forestal, Fuente Alemana, GAM Cultural Center, the Fine Arts Museum, the Central Market, Mapocho former train station, Parque de Los Reyes, Santiago Poniente, Santiago’s historic old quarter with its characteristic and picturesque barrios and well preserved 19th-century architecture. Among these, Barrio Yungay, the outdoor cafes in Plaza Brasil, the charming curved streets at Concha y Toro, and Lucrecia Valdés, Adriana Cousiño and Hurtado Rodriguez alleyways.
For lunch, we’ll picnic at Museo de la Memoria. After lunch we will pedal back to our departure point, passing by La Moneda, the seat of the Chilean Government.
We will met at Cafe Literario Balmaceda where the bike and culture tour starts.
