- For the Delphi Full-Day Private Tour, dressing in layers is recommended, as temperatures in the mountainous areas of Delphi, Arachova, and Mount Parnassus are generally cooler than in Athens. Comfortable, sturdy walking shoes are ideal for exploring ancient sites and cobbled village streets. In winter, expect much colder weather at higher elevations, so bring a warm coat, gloves, and a hat. In summer, a light jacket is useful for cooler mornings and evenings. Year-round, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat are advised for sun protection in open areas.
