The crooked tree lagoon is the largest wetland in the country and is co-managed by the Audubon Society. It provides an amazing bird-watching tour for the avid birder. Here, the possibility of seeing at least fifty species of birds within a couple of hours is extremely high. This tour is the ideal activity for bird lovers and wildlife enthusiasts alike. Upon arrival at the Crooked Tree village, we then change our mode of transportation by boarding and very nice motorboat along with our expert bird guide. He then takes over the tour and captains the boat through the lagoon, pinpointing every bird and wild animal in the area. The perfect tour to become one with Belize.

Here at the Crooked Tree Lagoon, the guests will see a wide variety of tropical water birds inside the largest wetland in the country as they traverse the lagoon by boat, accompanied by an expert birder. Besides birds, you also may get to see other wildlife such as green iguanas, howler monkeys, freshwater crocodiles, and manatees on a good day. All in their natural habitat.

We also pick up from both of the water taxi terminals in Belize City.
Meeting / End Points
- Pick-up is also done at the Fort Street Tourism Village on the north side of Belize City where all cruise ship passengers disembark from the ship at the terminal 1 gates.
