From there, we ascend to the top of Te Mata Peak, where panoramic views stretch across the Heretaunga Plains to the coastline—an unmissable highlight that captures the heart of Hawke’s Bay.
Then we’ll take a scenic drive through the Tuki Tuki Valley, enjoying breathtaking views of Te Mata Peak and the Tuki Tuki River before continuing to the coast. There, the dramatic coastline offers panoramic views of Cape Kidnappers and the Pacific Ocean, setting the scene for a final tasting that pairs world-class wine with fresh sea air and unforgettable scenery.

From this vantage point, you’ll see sweeping vistas over the Heretaunga Plains, the Tuki Tuki Valley, and all the way to the Pacific Ocean—an unforgettable highlight of the region.

Additional Information
The vehicle used for your tour will pick you up at your pickup location. The vehicle is marked 'Mates Travel' and is easy to spot upon arrival. The vehicle with the Guide will arrive no later than 5 minutes before the tour starts. Your guide will pick you up at the lobby/entrance to your pick-up location if they are unable to find a park right outside.
Meeting / End Points
- You will find the National Aquarium along Marine Parade in Napier. Your guide will be waiting for you next to the vehicle that will take you on your tour. The Vehicle will be marked 'Mates Travel' and will be parked at the meeting point at least 5 minutes before departure.
