Explore Palatine Hill, the site of an older settlement from the 9th century BC, said by the legend as the place where Romulus founded the original city of Rome.

And then explore the famous Roman Forum, the centre of life in ancient Rome where many of the oldest and most important buildings were located and the venue for public speeches, elections, criminal trials, and single combat gladiatorial matches. - Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Customers have a mandatory meeting time stated 20 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time due to managing and organizational reasons.
- The activity can suffer 20/30 min variation due to organizational resons
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Please note that for safety reasons the Colosseum can accommodate up to 3.000 people at once.This could lead to delays in access to the site, even for pre-booked visitors.
- For security reasons all visitors and their luggage shall be screened.
- To facilitate the security checks please insert any object (including mobile phone) in the bag/backpack or in the tray to be included in the X-ray.
- Forbidden objects inside the Colosseum: bottles and glasses containers, alcholic beverages and aerosols, backpacks, camping, bulky bags and luggage / trolley.
- Can be introduced medium and small size backpacks to shoulder, which must be checked, as any other bag, with metal detectors, opened and visually inspected by the Urbe Security Institute, responsible for the entrance inspection.
- Please notice that the Colosseum Administration, which depends on the Ministry of Cultural Assets and Activities has the faculty to close the Colosseum, or parts of it, with or without notice, for events, strikes, heavy rain, or any other reason. In which case, we will offer an alternative itinerary as it seems fit and offer a partial refund.
- No change on a booking can be accepted after 24hrs to the starting time of the tour. In that instance, no refund will be issued.
- Pets are not allowed.
- The Colosseum Management does not distribute individual tickets. We will have one group ticket for the entire group. For this reason, we are not able to give tickets to late arrivals that missed the tour!
- All the refund requests must be done within and not later than 48 hours from the day of the tour
- The entrance timings to the Colosseum listed here are indicative and subject to availability per each time slot. If the chosen time is not available, we will book the next available time slot.
- The itinerary may vary depending on weather conditions (ice, rain, or high temperatures) or other events beyond the travel agency's control.
- We kindly inform you that any kind of disability (visual impairment, hearing impairment,... ) or anything that might prevent you to regularly join the tour, MUST BE communicate in advance to our staff.

- SELF-AUDIO GUIDED TOUR AND VIP AUDIO GUIDED TOURS Meet our staff at our Travel Agency at Via Labicana, 96 (300 meters from the Colosseum entrance). Our staff will give you the Colosseum/Palatine Hill/Roman Forum tickets and the QR code to download the audioguide app on your SmartPhone.
- ONLY GUIDED TOUR OPTION The meeting point is at Piazza di San Clemente, next to San Clemente Basilica. The staff members will have a signboard reporting 'Tour in the City'.

VISITORS WHO BOOKED THE GUIDED TOUR Meeting points are at Via Delle Terme di Tito on the corner of Via Nicola Salvi. Our Staff wearing blue T-shirts branded "Tour in the City" will be on the opposite side of the street, just in front of the park entrance. Please arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time. VISITORS WHO BOOKED THE SELF-AUDIO-GUIDED TOUR COLOSSEUM/PALATINE HILL AND ROMAN FORUM TICKET The booked time refers to the entrance to the COLOSSEUM; the ticket is valid for 24 hours to visit Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum. The ticket redemption point is at Via Labicana 96. Please arrive at the meeting point 30 minutes before your booking time. Our Staff will provide you with the ticket and the audio-guide App QR Code. To download the Audioguide application you need a latest-generation smartphone not produced before 2020. We recommend bringing headphones. COLOSSEUM RULES FOR ALL VISITORS Late arrivals or no-shows are not refundable. Tickets are named, timed, dated, and not refundable. You must have a VALID PHOTO ID to enter the Colosseum (Driver's License, Passport, or State ID all work.) Security will prevent you from entering the site if the information provided is not accurate and doesn't match the one on your ID. Please note that the Colosseum's capacity regulations and security may delay the tour departure even for pre-booked travelers, and it can influence the smooth running of the tour. Due to unpredictable events, the order in which the sites are visited may vary. The Colosseum Administration has the faculty to close the Colosseum or parts of it with or without warning. Our Staff is not responsible if the phone number left during your booking is incorrect or inactive. The tour duration in June, July, and August is 2 hours due to the excessive heat. This tour is not wheelchair accessible. The tour operates in every weather condition! Please dress weather accordingly. Refund requests must be made within 48 hours after the tour day.
