We will begin our tour at the Four Corners of Law, Charleston's historic civic center where we will see Saint Michael's Church and the old South Carolina State house. Walking down Meeting Street, we will pass fine dwellings including the Nathaniel Russell House, considered one of the greatest Federal mansions in America. After admiring the grand houses lining White Point Gardens at the South Battery, we will wind along narrow lanes to the East Battery's sweeping harbor view and stately houses. Rainbow Row will be among the attractions we visit before traversing the historic district to see the Sword Gate house and the Miles Brewton House, the finest Georgian mansion in America.
