In the company of your expert wine guide you will discover the timeless wine growing villages and beautiful countryside of northern Burgundy. Your tour includes a minimum of 3 visits and tastings in at least 3 different wineries. You will be taken to a panoramic view point over-looking the Chablis Grand cru vineyards. During your tastings and visits to the vineyards you will learn everything you have always wanted know about wine-making and Burgundy wines. From the notion of "terroir" and the classification of the wines to vineyard techniques and the art of tasting, all will be revealed ! And for the lovers of red wines the delicious pinot noirs of Irancy and the Auxerre vineyards await you! Lunch will be in a local bistro where you can savour some of the region's specialities. On Sundays stroll through the wonderful Chablis street market. Your day will also be a rich cultural experience as you learn about the history & culture of the region from the Roman conquest to the great Dukes.
