Beginner-friendly! Knife sharpening & fitting handle workshop
The craftsman teaching the sharpening and handle attachment has trained at a knife shop with over 150 years of history. Because he has undergone all-round training in sharpening, handle attachment, and even engraving, he is able to offer both sharpening and handle attachment workshops.
Also, while the knife blade tends to get the most attention, please don’t overlook the variety of handles made from different types of wood! Through the sharpening experience, we hope you will appreciate the sharpness of Japanese knives, and through the handle attachment experience, the beauty and variety of knife handles.

What's included in Beginner-friendly! Knife sharpening & fitting handle workshop
(Subject to Option Inclusions)1. We will explain the precautions before starting the workshop. 2. You will experience knife sharpening. Before sharpening the knife you purchased, you will practice sharpening with a practice knife. 3. After finishing sharpening the knife you purchased, we will proceed to the handle attachment. ※During the handle attachment experience, you will wear gloves as the metal part of the handle will be heated. 4. Once the sharpening and handle attachment experiences are finished, we will package the knife nicely for you to take home. ※Please select your desired knife in advance.
