• 9:00 - Pick up from your accommodation in Longyearbyen • Head to Longyearbyen harbour, meet your guide, followed by a briefing and safety instructions, get dressed in provided drysuit • Get dressed in provided drysuit (suit, boots, mittens) and departure by open RIB boat to Barentsburg • A scenic sea voyage across Isfjorden with a visit to Esmark Glacier • Arrival in Barentsburg around lunchtime, lunch at the Barentsburg restaurant • Explore the settlement with a guided tour • Visit to the husky farm — a home to 50 dogs representing 7 northern breeds • Head to Barentsburg harbour, board the open RIB boat and head back to Longyearbyen • Passing bird cliffs and Grumant; the old mining settlement • Appx. 18:00 - Arrival in Longyearbyen • Transport back to accommodation in Longyearbyen
