Museo Nacional de Antropologia

The National Museum of Anthropology (Spanish: Museo Nacional de Antropología, MNA) is a national museum of Mexico. It is the largest and most visited museum in Mexico. Located in the area between Paseo de la Reforma and Mahatma Gandhi Street within Chapultepec Park in Mexico City, the museum contains significant archaeological and anthropological artifacts from Mexico's pre-Columbian heritage, such as the Stone of the Sun (or the Aztec calendar stone) and the Aztec Xochipilli statue. It is designed to house and exhibit the archaeological legacy of the peoples of Mesoamerica, as well as to account for the current ethnic diversity of the country. You should not miss to know this beautiful site.

Teotihuacan Pyramids

Teotihuacán has become a standard for Mexicans in the defense and protection of the National Cultural Heritage, its main monument, the Pyramid of the Sun, is an icon of national identity, especially as an important element of the pre-Hispanic past. The archaeological remains of the ancient city of the Classic in Teotihuacan, represent Mexico in the international area, since it was the first site of our country declared a World Heritage treasure, by UNESCO in 1987. The open area to the public visit has an extension of 264 hectares, where the main monumental buildings complex are concentrated, such as La Ciudadela and Templo de la Serpiente Emplumada (the Feathered Serpent Temple) , the Calzada de los Muertos (roadway of the death) and the residential complexes that flank it, the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the Palace of Quetzalpapálotl and 4 departmental groups with important examples of mural painting, such as Tetitla, Atetelco, Tepantitla and La Ventilla, as well as two other housing complexes called Yayahuala and Zacuala.
