Itinerary

Vatican Museums

Vatican Museums overflow with masterpieces by many of Italy’s most important Italian artists, sitting alongside important works from Ancient Greece, Rome, and Egypt. You will walk through famous galleries such as tapestries and maps. You will learn the secrets of The Sistine Chapel, with its enormous Michelangelo’s frescoes. Here you will have time to observe the details of his sublime “Last Judgment”. Your guide will bring you directly from the Sistine Chapel into St. Peter’s Basilica, the world’s largest Church, to admire Michelangelo’s “Pietà” and other highlights.

Admission Ticket Included

St. Peter's Basilica

Your guide will bring you directly from the Sistine Chapel into St. Peter's Basilica's courtyard. Your guide will optimize your time by explaining all the features outside. You can take pictures (without a flash) in a peaceful atmosphere while the guide waits outside for you. It is the world's largest Church to admire Michelangelo's "Pietà" and other highlights.

Fontana di Trevi

Hidden down the narrow backstreets of the city, Trevi Fountain is a secretive masterpiece, and perhaps the most spectacular fountain in Rome. Built at the end of one of the famed aqueducts that supplied the Roman Empire with water, this iconic setting attracts many visitors. Toss a coin into its waters to ensure a safe return to Rome at some stage in the future.

Please note that visitors with limited mobility can contact us to request special accommodations, such as wheelchairs or walkers. A member of your group will be responsible for pushing the wheelchair. Please note that wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers are not permitted in the passage connecting the Basilica's courtyard due to the 50 steps that are both downwards and upwards. For the same reason, we suggest avoiding strollers and using a baby sling instead.
  • **IMPORTANT INFO FOR LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS:** The Basilica stops issuing tickets three days before the tour. During peak season, tickets may sell out four to five days in advance. Last-minute bookings may still allow for a visit to the Basilica. After leaving the Sistine Chapel, you will queue without a ticket with your guide, who will stay with you for an extra hour to navigate the line and metal detector checks.
