(Subject to Option Inclusions)During a two-hour Chinese calligraphy workshop in English, you will hear a brief overview of the history of Chinese calligraphy, listen to interesting stories behind great works of art, explore writing tools which have been used for a thousand years and create your own artwork in the same way as the ancients. 1. Chinese Calligraphy 101 Hear a brief overview of the history of Chinese calligraphy and get insight into how the Chinese view their art. 2. Tools & Skills Use the tools of Chinese calligraphy and learn basic writing techniques. 3. Warm up Practice your basic skills and prepare for your final work. 4. Final Work Create your own artwork: a traditional folding fan with your favorite Chinese character on it, and smile with pride!
