Cliffs of Moher

The magnificent cliffs of Moher are one of Ireland’s most spectacular sights, and they reach a height of 700 feet. On a clear day, you can see for miles, and some of the sights include the Aran Islands, Galway Bay, and the hills and valleys of Connemara. On the edge of the cliffs, you can hear the waves crashing as they eat into the sandstone and shale. You’ll also get to hear plenty of birds as the Cliffs of Moher are home to lots of different species including puffins, guillemots, gannets, and more. From O’Brien’s Tower, you’ll be able to take in the magnificent views of the face of the cliffs. You’ll also get to spend time in the visitor centre.
