In addition to this, we have included hotel Pick up and drop in a private vehicle. Best known as the fashion capital of the world, Milan is truly a global city where art meets style. From the architectural heritage perspective, the city is quite different from Rome, yet Leonardo da Vinci casts his spell all the way to Milan, lending his genius touch to canals, cathedrals and castles. These include the majestic Duomo and its grand collection of basilicas. Add the city's gastronomic traditions and you'll have plenty of compelling reasons to put a trip to Milan on your bucket list. You will do an orientation tour with the driver and then walk alone in the city centre near Duomo area as cars are not allowed there.

Itinerary

Duomo di Milano

The massive Cathedral of Santa Maria Nascente, which the Milanese call just "Il Duomo" is among the world's largest (it holds up to 40,000 people) and most magnificent churches, the ultimate example of the Flamboyant Gothic style. It was begun in the 14th century, but its façade was not completed until the early 1800s, under Napoleon.

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

We recommend you to spend some time at Galleria Vittoria Emanuele - Forming one side of Piazza del Duomo and opening on the other side to Piazza della Scala, the grand Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II was designed by Giuseppe Mengoni and built between 1865 and 1877. It was then the largest shopping arcade in Europe, with a dome soaring 48 meters above its mosaic floor.
