This experience is hosted in a lived-in Istanbul home, not a cooking studio. You'll be cooking with someone who grew up making mantı by hand, learning the rhythm and ritual behind every fold. It’s a deeply personal experience where food is a bridge — between cultures, generations, and new friends.
Join a small-group cooking class inside Rojda’s home in Istanbul and learn to make mantı — Turkish-style ravioli — entirely from scratch. After a warm welcome with tea, you’ll dive into the dough-making process, blend the filling, and learn how to fold each dumpling in the traditional way. As your mantı simmers, you’ll prepare garlic yogurt, a paprika-infused butter sauce, and one or two seasonal side dishes like a crisp salad or local meze. The experience ends with everyone gathering around the table to enjoy the food and stories. Rojda shares: “In our family, making mantı is always a group effort. Every little fold carries a memory.” This experience isn’t just about learning a dish — it’s about stepping into a tradition that connects people across generations.
