The Louvre is more than just Mona. It's vast. Made up of 706 rooms with 35,000 objects on display and 30,000 visitors a day. Incredible artworks, historical paintings, world famous sculptures and many many people. We're visiting this world-famous museum differently to all the others. In a small group (max 6 adults) we're agile and we can see more of the museum. We're looking for connections with this incredible collection, rather than ticking boxes, we want to look to feel and to immerse ourselves in this incredible place.
We start with a coffee and croissant in the Galerie Vivienne, a 19th century arcade in the heart of historical Paris.
The 'Royal Palace', is an impressive ensemble of arcades, gardens and theatres built in the 1630s. Once home to a young Louis 14th, this place was also a hotbed for Revolutionary action, the site of some of Paris's first restaurants, and later a place to shop.
As a small group, we can be more flexible, and see more of the museum!
