Please note that the simulator rides have height restrictions: at least 101.6cm (4D Experience) and 96.52cm (Transporter FX)
Some parts of the museum may be closed from time to time for maintenance, placing new exhibits or special events, so it is strongly recommended to check The Intrepid official website in advance for the exact opening areas

The Intrepid Museum celebrates the people and technological innovations that have shaped, and continue to shape, our world. It is an immersive and fun place where history and STEM are showcased through marvels such as the world’s first space shuttle; the world’s fastest commercial airliner; a nuclear-weapons-carrying submarine; and dozens of military aircraft, including a supersonic spy plane, all displayed in and around the historic landmark aircraft carrier, Intrepid.
By subway: Please take the subway (A, C, E, 1, 2, 3, N, Q, R, 7, or S trains) and get off at 42nd St. station. Then walk west to the Hudson River (12th Ave) and walk 4 blocks north to Intrepid Museum
