Loch Lubnaig

We’ll pause for a brief yet stunning photographic stop at the serene Loch Lubnaig, nestled between the mountains of the Trossachs. This peaceful loch offers perfect reflections of the surrounding landscape, creating an ideal backdrop for capturing Scotland’s natural beauty. As we journey toward Loch Lubnaig, keep your eyes peeled for the iconic Highland Cows at Kilmahog—a favourite sight among visitors. While these gentle giants are typically spotted during the summer months, their presence adds a truly Scottish charm to the experience. This stop offers a moment to soak in the breathtaking scenery and capture memories of the Highlands.

Our lunch break takes us to the historic Drovers Inn, a destination as fascinating as it is charming. Established in the early 18th century, this iconic inn has welcomed travelers for centuries, including notorious figures from Scotland’s past. As you enjoy your meal, you can imagine which infamous rogue may have once sat in the very same spot, enjoying the inn’s renowned hospitality. The Drovers Inn offers a wide selection of traditional Scottish dishes and family favourites, all at reasonable prices. With its rustic atmosphere, roaring fires, and rich history, dining here feels like stepping back in time. Please note: lunch is not included in the tour price.
