Clarke's Court Rum Distillery, Grenada Distillers Limited, is a must-see for all visitors. It is the island's largest and most well-known distillery and also a fascinating historical site. The factory has been operating since 1937 and is located in the southern part of the island in the Parish of St George. At the distillery, you can learn about the various stages of rum production, from sugar cane, syrup, and molasses, all the way through aging, blending, and bottling. Additionally, you'll have the opportunityto explore old steam engines, some of which date back as far as 1886.
