Small Group Kuranda Tour via Kuranda Scenic Rail and Skyrail
This small-group tour includes a short transfer from your hotel to Cairns Railway Station where you will board the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway for an amazing journey over 37 bridges & through 15 tunnels passing the rainforest to the charming village of Kuranda. It’s a short walk to the village where you will have over 2 hours to dine, explore, shop or perhaps an exciting encounter with wildlife at one of the zoos (fees apply) Later, make your way to Skyrail Rainforest Cableway where you will glide over the rainforest canopy as you make your way to the Barron Falls. View the magnificent Barron Gorge, the falls & visit the Rainforest Interpretive Centre before re-boarding the cableway and making your way to Red Peak Station. From there explore the World Heritage listed rainforest before re-boarding and completing your journey at Smithfield where you will be met and transferred to your accomodation. Board the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway in Cairns for a spectacular narrated journey. Travel through World Heritage listed rainforest through 15 tunnels and over 37 bridges as you make your way to Kuranda Station. Includes a stop at the spectacular Barron Gorge to view the waterall.
Kuranda
Upon arriving in Kuranda, its a short walk to the nearby village where you will have about 2.5 hours to explore, visit the markets and zoos, shop and eat on your own.
Board a gondola, glide over the rainforests from Kuranda to the coast with two amazing stops on the way at the spectacular Barron Gorge and Red Peak rainforest boardwalk.

Air conditioned transfer available from selected hotels Cairns city and inner suburbs only. Please contact me if your hotel or AirBnb is not listed. I regret I can not offer transfers to customers staying on the northern beaches, Machan's Beach, Holloways Beach, Trinity Beach, Kewarra Beach, Clifton Beach, Palm Cove, Yorkey's Knob and Port Douglas. If you are staying on the northern beaches, please don't book with me. Other tour operators are able to pickup on the northern beaches. Port Douglas customers please go to destination Port Douglas for "Kuranda Day Trip from Port Douglas upgrade to Skyrail & Scenic train available" on Viator. My tour is suitable for cruise ship arrivals to the Cruise Liner Terminal arriving 9am and earlier. Yorkeys Knob is not the cruise liner terminal. Passengers with prams, wheelchairs etc must advise the tour operator as space is limited.
