Become part of the turtle rescue team and learn about the protection of turtles during the theme weeks from 01 April to 05 May only! Welcome to fascinating underwater worlds at the largest SEA LIFE aquarium in Germany! You'll get unique insights into the life underwater without getting your feet wet: from local rivers to the fascinating biodiversity of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and the dazzling life of the Amazon. Majestic turtles can be discovered as well as rays, seahorses, jellyfish and piranhas. The lively pair of otters is a special highlight: visitors might spot the couple juggling with pebbles. SEA LIFE Oberhausen is also Germany's biggest shark nursery. In the redesigned mangroves themed area you will discover the youngest breeds of the black-tip reef sharks, cat-sharks, rays and other sea creatures. Don't miss walking through the glass tunnel aquarium and learn fascinating facts at our daily feedings.
