We start our tour in the bay of Angra, where we can see the largest fortress built by the Spaniards. Continuing along the West Coast, towards the parish of Biscoitos, where we disembark in a vehicle that will take you to a restaurant for lunch. After lunch, passing by some viewpoints with fabulous views of the other islands of the Central Group. lagoon formed by the source coming from the Serra de Santa Bárbara that feeds it, surrounded by a forest of large Cryptomerias. to observe the fumaroles. Finally, the stopping point will be the Caldeira Guilherme Moniz (Algar do Carvao), where you will enter the interior of an ancient dormant volcano. Go up to 100 meters deep and observe unique stalactites in the world for their silicate characteristics.
