On this tour, we see 5 historic squares and end in beautiful Emmet Park beside the Celtic Cross. See the Irish influence on Savannah today from street names to flags flying. Learn about the Old Fort area where many Irish communities settled in the 1800s. After this tour, you will have an in-depth understanding of why the Irish immigrated to Savannah and what their experience here was like. Questions and requests encouraged. They are both especially passionate about sharing these stories as their first Irish ancestors came to Savannah in the 1850s.
