Join one of Italy’s most important craft beer writers, Bryan Jansing, on this unique Italian culinary journey. You’ll be introduced to Italy’s craft beer scene with one of its celebrities where you’ll be treated as a local, taste the variety of styles, learn how Italy’s influenced the rest of the world with its own creative brewing craftsmanship, and you’ll have the opportunity to see Rome, not as a tourist, but as a local. Oh, and all of this, in Rome’s most charming Trastevere district!
We’ll visit Rome’s most important craft beer pubs that put Italy on the craft beer map. You’ll have a unique opportunity to be led by one of Italy’s most important craft beer writers, Bryan Jansing, who wrote the book, Italy: Beer Country. With over 20 years of experience in craft beers, Bryan will help you choose the beers of your flavor, give you a first-hand view of Italian craft beer, and tell you how a country known for its wines developed Europe’s most vibrant craft beer scene.
Our first beer tasting is at Rome's oldest craft beer pub in the heart of Trastevere.
The second beer tasting is at Trastevere's famous beer shop: Les Vignerons where Bryan will help you pick the best beer to please your taste buds.
