Colosseum

Meet with our child-friendly guide at the short side of the Arch of Constantine, facing the Colosseum. The guide will be there waiting for you with a sign with your name. Once met each other, you can start your private tour of the Colosseum and St Clemente's Basilica. First site of your tour is the Colosseum. The greatest Flavian amphitheater is a must-sees in Rome . It is its symbol and the symbol of the Ancient period. With the help of visual aids such as overlay books or tablet, your private guide will bring the ancient Rome to life. Apart from this, your guide will give you information about the ancient roman life, habits, traditions. You will learn all secrets about the Gladiator...and you will see the main 'gym' where gladiators used to prepare their combats.

In fact, after the visit of the Colosseum, on the way to San Clemente Basilica, you will find the Ludus Magnus. There are some rests of this place but with your guide's explanation you will be able to imagine this place as it was.

Basilica of San Clemente

Now you are ready to go to San Clemente: what a beautiful Basilica! After an overview of the church history and architecture, you will proceed your visit downstairs. Not 1 but 3 different levels are kept in this Basilica... you will see the ruins of a 1st century roman house, a 2nd century Mithraeum and a 4th century early Christian Basilica.

At the exit of the metro station, cross the street and walk though the Arch of Constantine. The Colosseum is at your left.
