On this food and drinks tour, you’ll learn about the long history of wine production in Alicante, and discover why Spanish wine should definitely be on your radar. Talk to wine experts, sample local wines, taste some of the best local cheeses and other local specialties. The wines you taste will take you on a journey through many of the different wine-producing regions. In addition to sipping, you’ll have a chance to pair your wine with various local snacks and tapas as well as local olive oils and fresh bread.
The Plaza de los Luceros is the most emblematic place in Alicante. In the center of the square there is a large fountain built by the sculptor Daniel Bañuls. A magnificent work presided over by four horses and as many female figures that hide secrets to discover. Here we will begin our wine and gastronomy history experience. From Plaza de los Luceros we will go to the wine shop to begin our exclusive tasting accompanied by the most regional and delicious tapas in the area.
