We are a small, family-owned company with a passion for wildlife & the environment! Founded in 2005 by manatee rescue volunteers focused on safeguarding the dwindling manatee population, our goal has always been to bring you the very best in educational, animal friendly tours.
It has never been our ambition to have the largest fleet of boats on the water. Instead, we aim to have the smallest possible impact…which is why we only offer small tours & are proud to be 1 of 2 Guardian Guides with Save the Manatee Club!
Regardless of whether you book a tour with us, we kindly ask that you respect the manatees & their space…not crowd or prey on them. Any tour company promoting the petting of wild manatees is truly part of an ongoing local problem. We love snorkeling with the manatees, but always remain mindful not to interfere with their natural behavior. You can also see them very well from the boat, so whether in the water or out, it's truly a magical adventure!

(Subject to Option Inclusions)Welcome to your Private Snorkel Tour...Let's get ready to explore! Most companies spend 1/3 of their allotted tour time at a dive shop fitting suits, showing videos, & trying to upsell souvenirs & photo packages. With Manatees in Paradise, we handle everything on the water & there are never any hidden fees or upcharges. We will spend the entirety of your tour doing what we all love most...exploring the bountiful nature & wildlife in & around Kings Bay! Each of our swim tours include an in-water naturalist guide to assist your party & answer any questions you have along the way. Conditions vary on a daily basis, but generally we aim to swim at 2 locations per tour & spend the remainder of the time touring King's Bay & our many springs by boat. We enjoy getting to know each of our valued guests, & always offer education about the area's history, ecosystem, & wildlife. Even if you're new to snorkeling, relax & don't worry about a thing...we're on manatee time!

Meeting / End Points
- We will meet you at the Paddle Tail Lodge boat docks 5-10 mins before your departure time. There is no need to check-in anywhere. Please wear a bathing suit under your dry clothes & bring a towel. There are restrooms by the pool available for use before/after your tour.
