Drive to Segovia. We can choose to drive via the mountains for scenic drive. It takes an extra 20 minutes but on a pretty day it is worth it.
Lets start with a WOW moment. The Pradera de San Marcos is located right at the foot of the Alcazar de Segovia, which rises imposingly on a promontory. It gives the impression of being a ship (more like its bow) embedded high on a rock. The best view is obtained from this meadow.
The Segovia Cathedral, situated in the Plaza Mayor, stands as a breathtaking Gothic masterpiece merging late Gothic and Renaissance styles. Its soaring spires grace the city skyline, showcasing remarkable stained glass windows and an extensive collection of art and history, solidifying its status as an essential architectural gem in Segovia.
