HIROSHIMA ORIZURU TOWER is a comprehensive commercial facility which opened in 2016 on the east side of the Atomic Bomb Dome.
The rooftop observation deck "HIROSHIMA HILLS" is a wooden observation space surrounded by mesh, where you can have a complete view of the World Heritage Site of the Atomic Bomb and the cityscape of Hiroshima.
Moreover, when the weather is great, you can also see Miyajima Island, which enables one to explore two World Heritage Sites in the region. While blowing the comfortable Seto Inland Sea's breeze, you can experience the "scenery" and "feelings" that can only be seen and felt there.
In addition, at "ORIZURU SQUARE" on the 12th floor, you can fold cranes with special Origami paper and throw them into the "ORIZURU WALL". Let's complete the big wall with prayers of peace from all over the world.
On the SPIRAL SLOPE "Sampo", which leads from the first floor to the rooftop observatory, nine artists with ties to Hiroshima drew their thoughts on 2045 (the 100th anniversary of the postwar period) in WALL ART Project "2045 NINE HOPES".
By train: Take the Hiroshima Electric Railway (Miyajima Line / Eba Line) from Hiroshima Station. Get off at "Atomic Bomb Dome Station" and walk to arrive.
