The English Lake District is one of the most recent additions to UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Admire the rolling countryside and craggy fells whilst listen to your guide about the Lake District's history, geology and the people that have shaped this much-loved region.
Along the way, you will pass some of the region’s most spectacular sights, such as the Borrowdale Valley, Buttermere, Honister pass, Ullswater, and Grasmere. There are many stops on route; a highlight is the Castlerigg Stone Circle with its panoramic views. Our friendly driver/guide will provide an on-board commentary on this full day spectacular tour of lakes and mountains.
Pickup Windermere Information : Pick up at 09:40 from Windermere Tourist Information Centre, Victoria Street, LA23 1AD

This is identified above in this confirmation. Please arrive at the location selected in good time, if you are not, you may miss the tour. Please note: *Westmorland and Furness Council are working towards upgrading and improving the safety of the A592 (Kirkstone Pass) which connects Windermere to Brotherswater and Ullswater. Unfortunately this does mean the road is closed for specific periods throughout the year, including 5th June 2023 – 3rd July 2023, 2nd October – 16th October and 1st March 2024 – 22nd March 2024. We are sorry for the inconvenience, please note our tours will still be running as usual but with a temporarily diverted route during this period.
