Morning Half day Tibetan Cultural Tour: Departure: 05:30 a.m. Return     : 09:00 a.m. Join the Tibetan Cultural Tour in Pokhara with Mr. Thupten Gyatso, a knowledgeable guide. Gain insight into Tibetan culture, religion, and refugee life in Nepal. His passion for sharing Tibetan heritage ensures an enriching exploration. * Our guests will visit a Buddhist monastery which is located inside the Tibetan village: Over there our guests will attend the afternoon prayer chanting with the monks and hear the horns, drums, conch shell, trumpet, bell, etc., used during the prayer.

* You will visit a local Tibetan family's home and experience a traditional Tibetan breakfast. * Our guide, Mr. Thupten, will introduce you to the delicious world of Tibetan food, sharing the history and cultural significance of each dish. * Delight in traditional Tibetan dishes, and immerse yourself in the warmth and hospitality of a Tibetan family. * Learn about when and how they came to Nepal, the struggles they faced upon their arrival, and how, despite these difficulties, they have successfully preserved their Tibetan language, culture, and identity.

Additional Information

We provide free pick up and drop off services to and from our guests' respective hotels, which are located at Lakeside area. But we charge extra small transportation fee only for those guests whose hotels are located outside of Lakeside area depending on their hotel location. Our pick up time is at 5:30 am. Please provide us your hotel name and room number for your pick up. You can pay us the extra transportation fee directly to us after our tour is finished.
