Luxor
At 7:00 a.m., your licensed tour guide will pick you up from your hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor. You'll be transferred by a private A/C vehicle to Abydos City, located north of Luxor. This full-day tour provides an opportunity to explore two of Egypt's most complete temples.
Abydos
The Abydos Temple, dedicated to the Ancient Egyptian god of the underworld, offers a glimpse into the rich history of the region. The Abydos Temple, attributed to King Seti I and completed by King Ramses II, holds significant historical importance, with its well-preserved paintings of gods and pharaohs among the most stunning in Egypt. Notably, the temple is also famous for the Abydos graffiti, featuring ancient Phoenician and Aramaic inscriptions.
Dendera Temple Complex
Afterward, the tour continues to Dendara, where you'll visit the Temple of Hathor, known for its historical significance and architectural splendor. The Temple of Hathor at Dendara, located approximately 135 km from Luxor, is renowned for its exceptional preservation, with vibrant colors still visible on its walls.
