Occasionally there may not be a Changing of the Guard. On these occasions you will visit Horse Guards Parade, built on the site of the jousting yard of the old Whitehall Palace
A traditional pub lunch is not included in the package
Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace currently takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays & Sundays (subject to availability)
If there is no Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, the Changing of the Guard at Horse Guards Parade will be added as a replacement
Guests wanting to spend longer at the Tower of London may use their cruise ticket on another day. (Please check validity with guide)
St Paul's Cathedral is closed to visitors on Sundays & during special events. On these days, operator will stop for photographs outside St Paul's Cathedral and spend longer at the Tower of London
There are quite a few stairs within the White Tower at the Tower of London and there is currently no disabled access

After an optional pub lunch, head to the iconic St Paul's Cathedral for a guided tour and climb to the the Golden Gallery to enjoy aerial views over London, the River Thames, Tate Modern, and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. You'll then arrive at the 1000-year-old medieval fortress, The Tower of London, whose ancient stones hold a dark past. Founded by William the Conqueror and guarded by the iconic Beefeaters, you’ll explore this palace and prison with your guide and visit the chapel, said to be haunted by the ghost of Anne Boleyn. After viewing the spectacular Crown Jewels that include some of the world’s most extraordinary diamonds, you’ll head to the river for a relaxing Thames cruise to Westminster Pier.
