Itinerary

Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine

We begin our adventure at the iconic Fushimi Inari Shrine, famous for its thousands of red torii that form a magical trail through the mountain. Learn about the history and symbolism of this sacred site as you explore its impressive paths.

Arashiyama

The Arashiyama Bamboo Forest in Kyoto is an iconic natural promenade surrounded by tall and elegant bamboos that gently swing in the wind, creating a calm and almost magical atmosphere. Connecting the Arashiyama area with several nearby temples such as Tenryū-ji, this trail offers a unique immersion experience in nature. The light that seeps between the stems and the sound of bamboo rocking have made this place one of the most photographed and representative in Japan.

Kinkakuji Temple

The Kinkaku-ji (金閣寺), or Golden Pavilion, is one of the most iconic temples in Kyoto and all of Japan. Originally built in 1397 as a resting village of the Ashikaga Yoshimitsu shogun, it subsequently became a Zen temple of the Rinzai school. Its most prominent feature is its gold leaf-covered top floor, which shines brightly over the waters of Kyōko-chi Pond, creating a spectacular reflection. Surrounded by traditional gardens, the Kinkaku-ji is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a symbol of the beauty and harmony of Japanese design.
