A specialty eel restaurant that has been passed down for centuries since the late Meiji period. This is a long-established eel cuisine specialty store located at the entrance of Rokkakudori Street, Shin-kyogoku Shopping Street, Kyoto, with a history of more than 100 years. The store is marked by a retro wooden building and a red lantern. The eel dishes are delicious using a secret sauce that has been added continuously since the establishment. The rich secret sauce perfectly enhances the taste of the eel and leaves you with endless aftertaste. In addition, the store retains the retro decoration from that year, which is full of nostalgic sentiment and is also a highlight. Here, you can enjoy long-established eel dishes that are carefully grilled by craftsmen and have a soft texture.
