Explore the stunning Atlantic Ocean Road and the charming fishing village of Bud on a shore excursion from Kristiansund. Start with a short city tour before crossing the 6 km Atlantic Ocean Tunnel to Averøy Island, rich in Viking history. Travel the scenic Atlantic Ocean Road, an 8.2 km route with eight bridges zigzagging across ocean-edge islands. Look out for seals, seabirds, and possibly whales. Visit Farstadsanden Beach and enjoy a photo stop in Bud with views of the Bjørnsund islands. Return to Kristiansund via Frænafjord, Kornstadfjord, and the Krifast road, passing picturesque villages.
