Spean Praptos (also known as Kampong Kdei Bridge) on the road from Angkor to Phnom Chisor, Cambodia, used to be the longest corbeled stone-arch bridge in the world, with more than twenty narrow arches spanning 87 meters. The bridge was built in the 12th century during the reign of King Jayavarman VII. It is one of the few Khmer empire era bridges to have survived to the modern day.
Sambor Prei Kuk is an archaeological site, located in Kampong Thom Province, 30 km north of Kampong Thom, the provincial capital. The now ruined complex dates back to the Pre-Angkorian Chenla Kingdom (late 6th to 9th century), established by king Isanavarman I as central royal sanctuary and capital, known then as Isanapura. In 2017, Sambor Prei Kuk was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
