Itinerary

Fontana di Piazza Castello

Meet your guide and the rest of the group at the main entrance of the Sforza Castle. Admire the “Fontana degli Sposi” ("Wedding Cake Fountain") in Piazza Castello, which in the evening lights up with wonderful colours, and hear about kings, dukes and knights that lived in the castle centuries ago. Through stories and legends, your knowledgeable tour guide will describe to you some of the most important places in Milan's city centre, as well as a summary of their history.

Piazza Mercanti

You will whisper secrets through the columns of Piazza dei Mercanti, learning how the ancient merchants communicated in this square, which was a real trade centre. You will then be able to take a break to taste an Italian 'gelato' or a hot chocolate if you prefer.

Duomo di Milano

After that you can admire one of the largest cathedrals in Italy: the Duomo of Milan, with its array of statues and spires, and over fifty stained-glass windows.
