This is a private and authentic experience designed for small groups at a traditional Mexican ranch. Our guests are welcomed by local hosts, and the experience is personally led by the owner.
We are passionate about horses and take pride in sharing our knowledge with our visitors. Here, you’ll enjoy delicious food and take in breathtaking views of Eagle’s Peak Mountain, all while being surrounded by nature in a private and vibrant setting.
Located in Ajusco National Park: Ajusco is the highest peak in Mexico City, standing at 3,900 meters (12,795 ft) above sea level. It is a landmark visible from almost anywhere in the city.

What's included in Horseback in the mountains & Food in our ranch
(Subject to Option Inclusions)1. We’ll meet at the designated meeting point before heading to Ajusco Mountain, home to our ranch. Ajusco National Park is famous for its breathtaking landscapes and ideal horseback riding trails. 2. Upon arrival, you’ll receive an introduction to the equine world, where you'll learn: - How horses perceive the world - The morphological differences between various horse breeds - The common activities associated with each breed 3. Before setting off, we’ll practice basic riding skills to ensure you feel comfortable. Then, we’ll embark on a scenic horseback ride through the Mexican countryside, exploring the Ajusco Mountains. Along the way, we may encounter sheep, open meadows, and stunning panoramic views of Mexico City. 4. After our ride, you’ll enjoy a traditional Mexican barbecue and drinks at our ranch, nestled in the woods. Vegan options are available upon request. Menu includes: - Snacks - Ribeye, Sirloin or New York steak - Salad or Meat broth - 2 Beverages (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) *Additional snacks like guacamole, à la carte dishes, and extra drinks are available. 5. Around 3:30 PM, we’ll return to the meeting point, concluding an unforgettable day in nature.
