Our Favourites

Travel back to the past with this daytime walking exploration of Hoi An, an ancient city in Vietnam that's been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Used as a commercial hub between the East and the West, this city's extremely well-preserved buildings showcase the fascinating mix of past and present architectural styles. Meet up with your guide and group near the city's center, then proceed to the first stop of the tour, a traditional lantern factory. Learn how to make your very own paper lantern, which Hoi An is famous for, by picking out your favorite color and decorating it as you wish. To commemorate this great experience, you'll be able to bring home your lantern as a special, one-of-a-kind souvenir! After the class, you'll proceed to explore the city on foot and visit some of its most popular tourist landmarks, including Phuc Kien Community Hall, a sacred building with a distinct architectural style, and the Japanese Covered Bridge, originally built in the 1590s but restored in 1986 after it was flattened. You'll also stop by Phung Hung Ancient House, a famous building in the city that was awarded the title of “National Historical and Cultural Site” in 1993. Once the tour concludes, you're free to either head back to your accommodation or go grab some lunch, at your own expense, at one of the restaurants in the area.
