You will embarque in a journey through a 3-kilometer dry canyon with vertical walls 200 meters high, formed by the erosive forces of water over millions of years, Torrent de Pareís cuts through the rugged Tramuntana mountain range. The sheer magnitude of the vertical walls and the ruggedness of the cliffs will leave you in awe.
You will embark on an exhilarating journey, meeting the guide at 8 am at Sa Calobra. The guide will drive you through the windy road, a 30-minute ride up to the village of Escorca. After a short briefing about the activity and its risks, you will start your adventure via a challenging hiking trail that accesses the canyon. Once at the bottom of Torrent of Lluc (one of the 2 streams that form the Torrent de Pareís gorge), the journey continues through the blocks, and from S’Entrefoc, where the two streams meet, starts descending. You will navigate through narrow passages, scramble over boulders, and wade through shallow pools of water, adding to the excitement of the hike. After approximately five hours inside the channel, characterized by towering limestone cliffs that rise dramatically on either side, the journey ends at the beach of Sa Calobra, a picturesque coastal village located on the northwest coast of Mallorca. This tranquil place, considered a must-visit destination for anyone exploring the island, offers a perfect spot to unwind. You can reward yourself with a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
