History · Culture · Architecture · Art This walking tour starts where Miami began more than 8000 year ago (yes, Miami does have history!) on the shores of the Miami River. Now surrounded by towering luxury residential structures, hotels, world class restaurants and global businesses, Miami's first inhabitants, The Tequesta Indian tribe, hunted and gathered in what is now the epicenter of a bustling world-class city.
This landmark Miami skyscraper was the first to feature dramatic colored lights on its tiered glass exterior, a move that started the trend of lighting public bridges and private buildings all over the city. Your guide will take you to explore the hidden garden and park found within the skydeck of this iconic modern tower.
