You will have a chance to explore the historical cities of Hebron and Ramallah. Both cities are administered by the Palestinian Authority while being isolated from Jerusalem due to Israel's construction of the 'Separation Barrier', hundreds of checkpoints, 'Israeli only' roads, and restrictions on travel into Jerusalem.
After being picked up in Tel Aviv, the group will travel through the settlement of Pisgat Ze’ev, and then onto Ramallah, entering through the checkpoint to reach the neighborhood of Kufr Akab. The Separation Wall divides the neighborhood from Jerusalem.
Next, the group will visit Arafat's Tomb and walk down the streets of this busy city, which is now the de-facto Capital for Palestinians in the West Bank. ADMISSION FEE: 10 NIS
Once the group departs from Ramallah, we will travel through the Judean Desert, passing the settlement of Ma’ale Adumim, and Bethany, the site of the Tomb of Lazarus. We’ll travel for some of the way on a highway that is shared between the Israelis and the Palestinians, and then we will travel through Wadi al-Na'ar on roads that are restricted to Palestinians (and tourists).
