-What you can expect-
The Museo Nacional del Prado holds an exceptionally important collection of Spanish and European works. The royal collection, which represents the foundation of the Museum's holdings as we know it today, started to increase significantly in the 16th century during the time of Charles V and continued to thrive under the succeeding Habsburg and Bourbon Monarchs.
This visit will take you through the Museum on a visit to the most important paintings. Admire great European artworks by el Bosco, El Greco, Velazquez, Goya and Rubens. Discover the aim of the original building and why it changed to hold one of the most important art galleries in the world. The current exhibition holds more than 1.000 paintings from four different centuries. Given that for a first-time visitor this can be overwhelming, let your guide show you around the site and learn about some of the most important works and their backstories. Once your guided tour finishes you can stay inside the museum for as long as you wish.

- Know in advance:From 01 November 2025, the meeting point will be next to the Goya Monument, at Felipe IV Street
- Access to the Prado Museum is guaranteed; however, Access times may be subject to change. The time allocated may be adjusted up to one day in advance, depending on the museum’s own indications and the management of access for the public, and may be brought forward or delayed by approximately one hour
- Crowds or security protocols can lead to delays in skip-the-line access
- The local provider reserves the right to cancel the tour or modify the itinerary due to events being held at the location or due to operational reasons of force majeure
- Please note: some of the paintings might not be available despite belonging to the permanent collection for reasons out of the local partner's control. In those cases, the itinerary will be modified to comprise another painting with similar artistic
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 30 travellers per guide
- Admission staff may request official documentation to verify the children’s age (ID, Passport, etc). If this documentation is not provided, the payment of the difference corresponding to the adult rate may be required
